As the sun sets on another year it is award time in the Golf Industry.
As usual our Freetime partners are taking home prizes.
Castle Stuart is the latest, being named Best New International Golf Course by Golf magazine, quite the accolade.

There was also an award for co-designer Gil Hanse – Architect of the Year 2009.
In other Castle Stuart news, the North of Scotland’s Newspaper the Press and Journal profiled developer Mark Parsinen and the course.

In an additional Press and Journal article, Meldrum House designer and builder Graeme Webster described the course as ‘the best in Scotland’.
All in all it would be safe to say it has been a monumental first year on the Moray Firth coast.
