Reservations
Almost every hospitality business will take some advance reservations.
These might be just for function (conference and banqueting) type groups or it might apply to the majority of restaurant tables.
Freetime includes flexible software to enable you to manage these type of transactions through the full cycle from the initial provisional booking to the final account settlement.
For function type bookings you can add all of the customers details to the Freetime database so that you can market your business to them in the future.
The reservations software allows you to allocate the space and facilities that will be needed and record any advance purchases and service charges that will apply. All of this can be confirmed to the customer along with your request for any pre-payment needed to secure the reservation. This creates a ready-made transaction which become live on the day and can be added to with additional purchases and services to produce a final account which can be settled on the day or can be invoiced to the customer in any level of detail they require.
For table bookings you can choose to capture customer details for your database or skip this and simply record a name and a phone number. This again creates a ready-made transaction. These are presented to the till software according to the reserved time giving the serving staff the information that they need to welcome and serve the guests.
